May 23-24 APHA show in Red Bluff 2 judges
List of High Point Winners: high point received an embroidered stable blanket, reserve received an embroidered sheet and 3rd received a NCPHC logo bucket full of goodies. Awards were also given to grand and reserve in halter.

July 18-19 APHA show in Yreka 2 judges-

	HERO,THE RIDE FOR LIFE IS A RELAY ON HORSE BACK TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY. THIS EVENT WAS HELD AT THE TEHEMA FAIRGROUNDS ON APRIL 4, 2009 AND FERNDALE FAIRGROUNDS ON MAY 2ND 2009 For more information see the forms page The 2009 "Ride for Life" events raised over $18,000 in Humboldt County and over $27,000 in Tehema County!!!
